OpenAlice Clone Lab (Soul Vault — Consent-Gated Cloning)
The creation and media-ingest layer of the Soul Vault line. Clone Lab takes raw media inputs (voice samples, video, text corpus) and converts them into a soul bundle stored in Vault — under strict biometric safeguards and informed-consent gating. The "other-clone gate" (Milestones 2–3) is finished: you cannot clone another person without their explicit, verifiable consent baked into the Vault's consent-chain. Designed specifically to avoid enabling the kind of non-consensual deepfake pipeline that has triggered FTC scrutiny and state legislation. No NSFW output; no anonymous cloning; consent is cryptographically enforced, not just policy. Status proposed — engine built and security-reviewed on synthetic data; the five activation-gate checkpoints (shared with Vault) are not yet cleared.

Who pays: Content creators who want to create a "digital twin" for AI-driven content production; estates or families preserving a deceased person's voice/memory (with appropriate safeguards); language-learning or accessibility platforms needing licensed voice clones. Who uses: The individual whose identity is being cloned (must provide consent); the operator building applications on the clone; end-users interacting with the consented clone. Why they care: The only way to create a clone that is legally defensible under emerging AI likeness laws (California AB 2602, EU AI Act) is to have cryptographically-verifiable consent. Clone Lab is that pipeline. The alternative is a regulatory landmine. Where we reach them: Digital estate planning, entertainment law circles, content-creator economy. Currently waitlist-only — no active acquisition.
